Here we are in ’09 now and we thought we should throw more thanks out to those who are so important to us.  First, to all the “Junkies” out there growing in numbers seemingly with every show!!  Those who seem to be there almost any time we are in your neighborhood, you know who you are… we will find a way to thank you in a special way very soon.  We thought the next in line should be some of these great clubs we play and have been for a while who make it possible for us to ‘bring it to the streets’.  In doing so it seemed appropriate to tell those visiting the site a little about them.  “The End Zone” is a damn cool spot behind West Oaks mall on the west side of town sporting a cool crowd of both young and ‘seasoned’ folks who love to rock hard!!  For you single guys and gals, give this joint a try if you enjoy a place where the gorgeous west side people gather.  The owner “Justin” has a great crew of beautiful people running a great party every night and they also sport every great UFC event of the year!!  “The Abbey Pub”, another west side club which was truly built as a live music venue, a huge stage that supports bands like us who still like to throw down with a physically energetic show.  The crowds are off the hook with enthusiasm and if you go you can’t help but be a part of it.  These folks party like every night is a full moon!  “Magnolia Bar & Grill” on the Richmond Strip, one of the only bars left from the days when The Richmond Strip ruled when speaking of live entertainment and is still kickin’.  This bar and grill has some of the best southern food in town and during the spring, boils some of H-towns biggest and best crawfish bar none!!  Crawfish on the patio and Soul Junkies… it don’t get too much better than that!!  Magnolia is really a blues bar for the most part but when we came in a few years ago we quickly became a favorite and have been going back ever since.  This is a great place to hang during the day and evening once spring comes around!!  “Wild Wing Café” is almost out to Katy and is a great place for friends and families to congregate any time.  Once the Ten o’clock hour comes around, it morphs into a great live music venue complete with showcase stage and sound system.  They have sports on a big screen and the coldest brews you can find in Katy.  All these clubs are great for a rowdy party or a date… a rowdy date that is!  Last but not least for those on the north side, you gotta check out “Beach Bums Bar”!  This bar opened a little more than a year ago and it is one of the hottest clubs we play.  These folks just seem to know how to have a great time and always give us big time love.  Sheila, the owner must have had a great plan because she has a packed joint every night and boy do these folks party!!  Complete with beach theme and even an open bay window behind the bar left open on cool evenings…a damn cool place to sit and drink cocktails with lots of color and lots of booze!!  If you’re in Conroe, spring anywhere on that side of town, this is where the party is.  To all the owners and club management running these places and others, we thank you and hope to have a great year.  We will be seeing you “Junkies” out and about.  Party on and be safe but not boring!!  We have love for you all.
